My Story. My Journey. But My God.
Hi, I'm LaShea, founder of Shea Heals. After years of carrying silent pain, emotional burnout, and repeating cycles of hurt, I finally reached my breaking point... and then, my healing began.
What saved me was surrendering to God, journaling through the tears, smashing the emotions I couldn’t say out loud, and rediscovering my power through ancestral wisdom passed down from the women in my family.
Inspired by the strength and healing of my great-grandmother Laura, my Granny Bertha, and my mother Gloria, I began creating tools that would guide others out of their own storms. That’s how Shea Heals was born.
Today, I am a wellness coach, author, and educator with over two decades of experience, and a proud mother of four and GiGi to two beautiful grandchildren. I'm also pursuing a degree in Positive Psychology so I can support others as a trauma-informed counselor.
What I offer isn’t therapy, but it’s a bridge.
Through tools like the You’ve Been Chosen to Heal boxes, my workshops, guided journaling, and emotional release sessions, I create sacred space for people to feel seen, safe, and supported. Each product is designed with intention, from the healing shirts and affirmation bottles to the smash bags and comfort cards.
I believe no one should have to heal alone. That’s why every box is made to be shared. Whether you gift one to yourself or pay it forward to someone else, the message is clear: you’ve been chosen to heal.
This movement is about giving people something they can hold onto in the middle of their storm. A reminder. A moment. A breakthrough.

At Shea Heals, emotional wellness goes beyond self-care; it’s about release. We use guided tools like journaling, writing on smash plates, and reflective prompts to help you name what you’ve been holding in.
Our emotional release sessions are safe, structured experiences where you can write your emotions on a plate and physically break it, symbolizing the release of what no longer serves you.
This isn’t about destruction. It’s about healing with intention. The practice allows you to release stress, anxiety, and deeply rooted emotions in a healthy, empowering way.
Many people are surprised by how freeing it is to acknowledge their pain, write it down, and release it, sometimes for the first time in years. And for some, it’s the first step toward therapy, spiritual restoration, or personal transformation.
